Megan Billings is a triple threat actress, singer, and dancer in NYC. Praised as a “visually stunning performer” with a “rich, clear soprano” and a unique leading lady poise, Megan also brings physical comedy, a powerful high belt, and an innate and well-developed comedic timing to her work.

A native of Sacramento, California, Megan’s passion for musical theatre was born underneath the Music Circus tent. She developed her vocal chops as a little girl, singing in the competitive Sacramento Children’s Chorus, and has gone on to perform professionally in both opera and musical theatre, as well as dabbling in straight plays, film, TV, and commercials.

A graduate of Oklahoma City University (MM), Megan has extensive vocal training across many genres, with ongoing training in the Matt Farnsworth Studio (Grace Chermak). She studied comedy improv at The Second City and continues her dance training at Broadway Dance Center, where she served as dance assistant to Broadway jazz legend Sue Samuels for 2 years.

Described by those that have worked with her as the “consummate professional” with “an incredible stage presence [that] takes instant command of an audience,” Megan values excellence in creativity and is driven by a desire to take care of the audience, or to gain their trust by being both well-prepared and yet alive and present in the moment.

Megan is also a passionate group exercise instructor, certified in barre, Pilates, and stretching. In her spare time, she bakes, writes, and loves on her rescue animals.

Megan is grateful to be a member of Actors’ Equity.
